Hello,
I found this coin in a bag, with other old coins at my grandmothers house. She says they were my grandfathers, and does not know what it is or where it is from. I can't really read what it says, but maybe someone here can identify it.

Thanks

It looks like a type of Notgeld but I think this is a job for our local mysterious coin expert, Sap.

Hello and welcome.

Sorry to say that this particular piece is not a genuine old coin. What you've got is another one of these - a brass replica of an old silver Spanish coin.
