Nice one John1 just found my first a few weeks ago but not nearly as nice...pics are a bit grainy for my grading comfort, but I'll take a stab at MS-64 on the assumption that those lines are from the pic itself and not hiding rubs.

Sorry about the scans. There are a few stains on the obverse and even a few more on the reverse. I am sure that would lower the eye appeal as well. This is my third one, the other two was found a long time ago. Just to show you how bad I am at grading, I thought it would grade AU-58 red.

If the stains make it look worse than the images you posted $50 would be fair. Otherwise it would actually be worth more than that...but then again, there are few recorded sales of this doubled die, so whatever the market will bear would be right. Ask the buyer what they think is fair and go from there.

John1...one person who may be interested is liveandievarieties...he has WTB ad for this one and I beleive his minimum was AU..you could at least check his offer to see where it falls.

John1...after seeing the new pics I have to retract my original grade....the thing that bothers me is the scratch/gouge below the memorial right above the C....that could bring it down a couple of grades for me anyway.
