Just want to know what this coin is. Did it come out of a set or anything like that. I have no clue on what it is or what its worth besides five dollars. Does anyone have any input on it? Thanks

Liberia has put out alot of coins over the years. They tend to not have much collector value because they basically have flooded the market with them. Sometimes they issue coins that are partially made out precious metals and would at least be worth that pm content. I think their $20 coins were made from silver. I don't know what that particular is made from. I'm guessing the coin you have is a commemorative made from a nickel mix, but like I said, it's a guess. I'm sure if you surf the net some more, you'll find the info.

A commemorative five dollar coin from Liberia, a country so lacking in a history of their own that they honor everybody else's.

... And the reverse looks like the reverse of a Kennedy half dollar. Not even an original design
