Hello all, I haven't reported many of my finds lately, but I wanted to share this one. Its a nice BU example of 2006P-1DO-015 (MDS) with reverse die #002. An extremely lucky find for me way over here on the West Coast . Obverse: Reverse: "Liberty:" "Close up of "RTY" of "Liberty:" Date: Die Crack running from "WE" through the back of Lincoln's head: Die Chip at Top of Column #1 - a key marker for reverse die-002 : Be sure to check all of your 2006-P's carefully, there are a ton of DDO's for this date! Happy hunting everyone . Chugly

That's incredibly cool Chugly- just before I looked at your post, I had pulled a 2006P out of my own pocket and set it on the laptop to loupe at later. I read your post, and immediately looked at my coin- no dice, but I really don't remember the last time I saw an 06P in my pocket, maybe in the last bag I looked at. Just funny, the 2 06Ps in Spokane. Congrats on a pretty cool and unlikely pick!

Nice score chugly! I'm still looking for that one.
By the way, where does everyone get "reverse die #'s" from?

Nice one chugly...I go through tons of 2006's here and the only one I've found is the 018 (double ear)..kinda hoping I'd get more because I see a lot of gems.

Thanks everyone! I had been on a pretty dry streak of late, so this find was pretty sweet! Hey Scooby, I got the reverse die information based on the listing on Coppercoins. It lists two different reverse dies for this DDO. Reverse Die - 001 (MDS) exhibits a moderate die gouge at the rim below the O of ONE. Reverse Die - 002 shows the die chip on the upper portion of column 1, as in my example. As always, I was just using the hard work of Chuck D. et al. & Coppercoins to make me look smart - ha ha.

2nd reverse means the reverse die was replaced. This can be a new die or another die off anther die pair. Die breaks end a dies run early sometimes.
