its not their fault, coins get rotated in slabs all of the time

yep, you can tap them and turn them. Its a little harder to do in the newer slabs but it can be done. The coins are in a ring inside the slab and when its tapped or vibrated the coin will turn like shown here and if you keep vibrating or tapping it, it will turn completely around like it started

One of our members suggested using an electric tooth brush to rotate a coin in a PCGS slab. He said it worked like a charm. I haven't use one...yet.

By the way, buy the coin not the slab.
