Well, I have some old coins to identify that I found in a jar. I know these aren't lavish golden billions, but still, would like to know what these are. I know that some of them are British and French, mostly 19th century? Are these junk or something to hold on to?

Number 14, Chihli, Chinese province 10 cash ( I think - could be 20 cash depending on diameter). Worth up to about $5 in that condition.

The Chinese 10 cash and the Russian denga are worth a pound or two - the rest ... well, the Ottoman ones might be worth a pound or two depending on the date but the rest are interesting keepsakes - as they say in the trade..

But an interesting find none the less - enjoy.

#15 is a 1/2 sol from Peru, 1942-1965 series. But I don't have anything else to add to what the others have seen.

Question to Jeff - how do you know that's from the Chihli province without seeing what is on the obverse? And also with the Russian coin, I think it's too big to be a denga - has to be at least one kopek coin.

Is there a reverse photos of all the coins?
