I'm certainly no expert but I would have evaluated it at AU50 maybe 53. I think the headdress is way to good shape and I think the wear on the wing is not as bad as it looks.

Just my humbel opinion, well actually its my favorite coin.

these things are graded differently because they have an incuse design and do not wear like a normal coin does. I agree with the XF grade

Now that you mention that it does look like there is a heavily worn S mint mark. I'll try to take a close up and see what it looks like.
