Couldn't get a real close up on the double here. I can see it with my loope though. I'm new and still trying to grade and see if this is even a find. It is noted that coneca says its not a double however my cherry picker says that it still has value in a sale. au-50 of $10. Can some help me grade this? http://i1237.photobucket.com/albums...oubledie.png

Hello,

I would go XF-45, just based on the obverse. It looks like a nice, clean example so that's a bonus. Unfortunately, even with the smallish picture, I can pretty much rule out the possibility of this being a doubled die. Larger pictures of the Date, motto, and Liberty would tell us for sure. I do hope for your sake that I'm wrong. Btw welcome to the forum!

I'd be afraid to make any call on this one...you definitely need full shots of the obverse and reverse to grade.

Me neither. Looks like a completely normal 1971.
