Has anyone noticed the completed listings and current price of the ladybug on ebay? I believe there is an $800 bid for this coin on ebay UK with 5 days remaining.

I have 2 of them. But I keep hanging on to them because they are pretty. Price would have to go over $1000 for me to consider selling 1 of them.

Last couple of days, ebay had winning bids of $791 cdn and $731 cdn.

Two ongoing ebays auctions are at $732 and $733 each.

About 10 days ago, a lady bug and bumble bee pair went for more than $1000 cdn.

Wow, this thing is really taking off! Now I don't feel bad about buying one for $500 about 2 months ago. I've said it before but I'll reiterate my prediction that it'll hit $1000 when the third coin comes. There's a third one coming right?

Question for you. Why would someone offer off ebay sale? Is it so they can get a better price because of no fee to you? Just curious the point of off ebay sale.

I saved about 70 dollars in ebay fees and yes I can let it go for a little less that way. Also I have dealt with this buyer before so I know they can be trusted.

I did not think the bug would go past $600 so I sold one and rethought things. I have several more and they will be held until the next issue is released. Double the mintage on the 2012 bee should keep it at a little less in value, but a few more years to go should shoot the price up for all. Can the series be compared with the lunar series starting in 1998 where the $ value has not changed much after the 1st coin? Time will tell.

Does anyone think the bumble bee will go any higher than the $200 they seem to be getting on ebay?
