This dime came out of an album from the estate I am working with. In the 1916-D hole there were 2 dimes. Looking for grading opinions & where ya'll think it was minted.

Looks like an S to me, also the chance it is an S is a lot higher.
AG-2.5, if there is such a thing.

Definitely an S. I grade FR-2 as almost the entire reverse motto is obliterated.

It was pretty hard to tell what this one was with my loupe. I pegged it as an S mint once I got the picture up on my monitor. For a while there I thought I might have 2 1916-Ds.

fr1 s cant be fr2 because its not just heavy wear it looks to have bid slid across concrete

I have a couple like that pulled from circulation in the early 1960's-that's what almost 50 years of wear will look like
