I'm hoping these pics are good enough to get a grading guess from some of you LWC experts. Any and all opinions are welcome. I took some better pics indoors under artificial light. These should be much easier to give opinions on. Original Pictures: Edited by trdhrdr007 05/08/2011 2:19 pm

VF details.
Not sure what's going on with the obverse. Can't tell if it's corrosion or just dirty.
Also the reverse looks like it might have been polished up.

the reverse is definately vf-the streaks on the obverse are from an improper alloy mix, common to lincoln cents of the era. The dark spotting is more of a problem-not sure the TPG's would slab it, but still a key coin-overall. (VF-30)

Closeup of the date/mintmark and the VDB on the reverse please.
The stuff on the obverse is probably tape glue.

I knew I should have waited to get better pics before I posted these. I took them outside when the sun had just gone behind the clouds. I'll get better pics of this one & the others posted within the next couple days. Ya'll are doing great with what I gave you to work with & I'm looking forward to your comments when I get good pics.

vf details, pretty serious lamination might get it a net or genuine grade.

Can you crop the date/mintmark and the VDB?
Mintmark is not parallel with the world.

VF35. I am not a big fan of lamination. The obverse looks to have improper alloy streaks which I do like. Looks genuine.

I grabbed your second photo of the obverse and cropped the VDB on the reverse. At least get the coin authenticated prior to the sale. The letters don't line up, dots are not the same size, and the crossbar is incomplete in the "B". BUT....could just be the photo as well.

Yep, it's considered damaged.

If only it wasn't damaged... . Anyways, I'd grade it F-12. The detail on the obverse just isn't nice enough for VF-20.
