I'm new to coin roll hunting and while I'm looking for old or rare or silver coins, I also take a closer look to check for errors and this 1980-P nickel caught my eye.

Minor error MAD, for mis-aligned die. Odd looking 0 in the date.

If both sides were off in the same direction, it would be an off-center strike.

MAD coins are usually quite common and not worth saving. Once you get a point were the peripheral devices trail off the edge, you have a keeper. It looks like the very top of some of the IGWT letters have been affected on your coin.
