I found a coin that looks like die scratches but it looks like a (music) record. What kind of die scratches are those? Is that considered an error or what? I've seen this before on a different coin but was wondering about it. If you want to see a pic on what I'm talking about Ill post a pic later.

Those are lathe lines that were not polished off the die stock material before the hubbing took place. Probably one the best examples. but not the only die that turned out that way.
