Looking for help to grade this SLQ, now that I've got it under more natural light. I did send this one through a month or so ago.

I'm terrible at grading these, but this is a very nice piece. Full rivets, lots of head details, lots of feather details on the reverse. I'll say VF with a shot at EF. Not sure how much Eagle feather detail you must have to get EF.

I'm thinking more like AU-55 with a lot of crust. It doesn't have AU luster, but I think ite's because the dirt and crust is covering the luster, though it could be hiding a very old cleaning.

I'll go with AU-50, primarily because I've seen XF slabbed examples with the toes and drapery across the thigh much less evident. Minimal wear and only on high spots.
Hey, if I'm wrong, let me know why. That's how I learn.

This may the best looking Standing Liberty quarter I have ever seen. I have a 1927 S that has been graded AU-50, and I believe this looks better...quality is off the charts AU-55 to MS-58

Thanks JeffatNJC, You might need to get out to more coin shops though..... I actually just sent this one off to another CCF member. Type I SLQ are a great design, one of my favorites.
