As a coin collector neighbor, I would save all the wheat cents 1909-1958 P D S mints. The most valuable wheat cents are 1909- 1939 all mints. After the 40's and 50's through 1958 D wheat"s there are special cents to watch for. Living in MI, we see a lot of Canadian cents. Hope this helps!

You can subtract the P mint coins between 1935 - 1939 from the "most valuable wheats" list. There a a LOT of them out there and they are pretty easy to find.
