I bought a 2007 1 ounce .999 silver Maple for 42 and a 1 ounce .999 silver Grizzly for 43 on ebay

Good coins?

On a side note I sold a 1997 silver proof set and an American Silver Eagle proof for 120, so I pretty much traded 2 ounces for 2 ounces, and made a 20 dollar profit

But are the Grizzly and Maple Leaf good coins? nice silver?

for the most part, silver is silver to me.
Both of those coins have a nice premium to most collectors, so yes they are nice.

Picked up two Grizzlies myself today. Love the look and can't wait to get them.

Good advice here and I agree with it 100%.

As to the coins you got... yeah, they are real nice and make fine additions to most any collection. The price seems pretty decent as well. That is about what an ASE costs these days and they are attractive as well. All are 1 oz. silver, of course, so would be good for any bullion collector.

Most coin collectors enjoy the variety of coins available, so might have a pretty good collection of 1-oz. silver coins from around the world so they can enjoy looking at the various images on the coins.

I only have ASEs, Kennedy 1/2 dollars, Roosevelt dimes, and 3 Morgan dollars so far. Would not mind adding some other kinds of 1-oz. silver coins, such as the Maple Leafs and the various Chinese and Australian coins. There are a number of them to choose from, which is also very nice.
Rest in Peace

You got a couple nice coins, but I'd prefer to have what you sold, so IMO you downgraded your inventory to make $20.

Perhaps, Fred... but then, there IS that old "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" thing to consider. Different strokes for different folks and all that. One of the really nice parts about collecting is that each collector is free to do what s/he thinks best.
