I want to say that they both look like 1916 D, but I don't know enough about LWCs to tell you anything beyond looking at the dates. Perhaps there are other cues which show you the date, but I don't know those.

To me the first looks like a '16, and the second looks like a '12.

To me, I thought they both looked like 1916s, the first one maybe a '10.

I have a few cents that are worn like that, and 2 Mercury dimes. is there any thing I can try that will bring out the date a little better? Thanks James

First one, I guess it looks like a 1915 and the second one looks like a 1916

They both look like 16-D to me.

That first one really looks like a 19xx to me.  Most here say 1916 and before they said that I would have said 1910 but after all the 1916's, I too start to see the 16. MAYBE.

Looks like both are 1916-D, however the first one is nearly impossible to tell.
