When I see something that I think is a good buy I can't
resist getting them.

I saw four of these ICG slabbed 2005 and 2006 MS 67 nickels. The price was where I could not say no.

My question is, do other members think these are something to hold onto and maybe they will go up in the future.

Or just flip them and move on to something else.

For background I have many multiples of the 2004, 2005 and 2006 nickels. In Dansco's 2X2's mint rolls .. but none slabbed.

Here is as good of pic as I could get of one of them, it
is hard for me to take pics of coins in slab's.

All four say "first day issue" and are graded MS-67.
They are 2005 "ocean view", "buffalo" and 2006 P and 2006 D

Gold Rush I like the coins. I have them in slabs as well, the 4 coin series. I think only ICG is the only company that certifies first day of issue. The grade of MS67 is about as high of a grade as you will find on these nickels. My question is how much is someone offering. I think because they are only a 2 year series that in the future they may be worth something, but remember they are only nickels. I got them at first as an educational opportunity for my nephew who lives in Oregon, but he did not take an interest. Let me know if you flip them and what you get for them, I may have a few to sell.

I like them but also think they were pretty widely hoarded so raw ones will not see a premium IMO. However, slabbed ones could. I would just sit on them.

Nice I'd keep them. Heck I'd love to have some myself slabbed. All I have are the US Mint rolls of all WJB and some proofs.

I paid I think $5 for an ungraded uncirculated P & D coin set of each coin, and then I paid for an 8 coin set slabbed in MS67 for $25/piece; I think it was $199.95 for the set. How much did you pay GoldRush?

75 cents each $3.00 for all four .. At same time I picked up the eight 2004/2005 satin nickels for face .40, cut
from mint sets.

I just now looked at numismedia for the MS 67 prices . and am quite surprised.

You did great. So now sell some and take a profit and keep a few for the future.
