it is off center when the coin is struck a little bit off the dies. Pretty common.

Does it look like this on both sides?

Is the rim flatted by IGWT? If so, then it is probably a lucky penny popped out of its encasement. Better pictures of both sides would help.

Welcome coin.
It is not fake, but the other side could tell us what kind of error it is.

Do you have a reverse pic? What others seem to be alluding to is that if it affects only the obverse it is a MAD or MisAligned Die. If it shows on the reverse iit is an off-center strike. The difference being the number of dies involved.

Biokemist6, is there a way to post IGWT to the CCF Glossary? Thanks again.
