I have a few more that I will try to get pictures. Two of the good ones are an NGC sample slab debuting their edge view holder and a PCGS slab debuting the Secure Plus holders, with a Lincoln Shield cent naturally

Please educate me - what is a sample slab as opposed to a normal one? I know nothing about types of slabs. I own one slabbed coin - a 2010 NGC MS70 ASE

It is exactly what it sounds like- a sample of a TPGs holder design, typically given out for the debut of a new slab design. Inexpensive coins are typically used and pre-1965 Roosevelts seem to have been very popular with NGC and PCGS in the past days of cheap silver.

The unpictured NGC and PCGS slabs I mentioned in my previous post were picked up at the TPG tables at coin shows. The two PCGS slabs I pictured were purchased from my local coin shop's bid board for minimal cost. And yes, some of the rare ones can have decent value. I sold the PCGS doily label on ebay last year for $50 and the Kennedy slab sold for $25 back when silver was under $20/oz. Buying sample slabs works the opposite of coins- you are buying the holder and not the coin

Sample slabs have become very expensive, and now selling form $40.00 to over $100.00.
Even the ones we considered common.
