I have about 30 Canadian Dollar coin doubles (mostly '68, '82 & '84). I'm not looking to make any $ from them, more interested in trading them for my missing years or for 50c pieces. I live in Toronto, should I go to a coin store? find people to trade with online? is there a place on this forum to do this? Sorry, I'm totally new to this, just looking for some advice, thanks.
Please excuse me if this is in the wrong forum section, this Canadian section has been so helpful, so its just the section I have been referring to the most on this site.

I believe there is a buy/sell/trade section on this forum...I'm not sure about the rules though, as far as how many posts you have versus what you can do here (buy, sell or trade). I'd check it out and read the rules section. Good luck!

when you get your posts up, as per above, you might expand your horizon, and swap them with some "darksiders" ... (myself included)

Yes, they're are people in the wings That want to trade. For instance, I have a '75 Calgary Rodeo double dollar 6 piece set
I'd prefer not to sell. Gather up your stuff and post some more.

Welcome to the Forums... EY_Pep. Your Dollar coins are Nickel, what I have done with a lot of mine I have traded for other coins (U.S. Australian)... Nickel coins are not worth that much, so the best bet is to hold off until you get enough posts, and use them for trades.

You can always use 'em at your local Tim Horton's for a large double / double! Glenn

Yes! The Buy / Sell / Trade area is great, and I've used it extensively. It's helped my Canadian coin collection grow tremendously because of the terrific people in this forum.

I agree with Glenn , I spend mine or give them to kids- they love them and think they found treasure. Glenn
