I am looking into the options for a currency album. I currently use Dansco for my coins, but I don't think that the Dansco currency album will be the best option for me. I have large and small notes along with bonds and fractional currency I want to put in the album. The Dansco pages are fine for the small notes, but it looks like they only have a 1-pocket page for any large notes. Also the Dansco album is smaller than the current 8.5"X11" 3 ring binder currency pages I currently have.

I also like the idea of being able to write things on tabs where the notes go.

So I am asking for any helpful tips or ideas on currency albums...what do you use...what do you like...what to avoid...etc... Thanks for the help!

I collect coins mostly, but do have some currency. I keep mine in a 3-ring binder with pages for small and large currency.
I have seem some on www.coinsupplyexpress.com

www.wizardcoinsupply.com also has some

I collect large currency as well as small size currency. I use the Dansco 7001 for my small size bills. For my large size bills, I use a currency portfolio made by BWC. The album I have holds 27 large size currency bills. I got it on e-bay. I forget what I paid for it but they were not expensive to buy. Hope this helps you out.

Correction to my reply. The company is BCW instead of BWC. Check out e-bay items listed for BCW currency albums. They run $4 or $5 buck each. Sorry for the error.

Thanks for the replies so far. I may look into the BCW ones you mentioned.

Does anybody use the Lighthouse (grande, I think) or HE Harris currency albums? They both seemed nice and were not too pricey.

I am looking into the lighthouse and HE Harris albums, but I have not purchased one yet. I may end up just putting currency pages into a 3-ring binder. I thought an album dedicated to currency (large and small notes) would look better though.

I use Lindner supplies... a little pricey but very high quality. I use the 'Multi Collect' album because they have pages for both coins and currency, and the biggest variety of sizes.
