1955 and 3 64's! I couldn't believe it... asked for some quarters for the meter, and she gave me these! I immediately said, better make it $2 worth I'm going to stay a bit longer!

Nice! I'd park there everyday, if it meant I could 'rescue' more of these.

Wow! Judging by the amount of circulation, those just saw the light of day again.

Congrats! A good day for collectors, but a sad day for the overall economy when people have to start raiding the old coin collection in the closet just to make ends meet.

Go back and get more!

Very cool! Only dealers let me "rescue" silver coins from them... and they "rescue" my cash from me at the same time

I hope not.

Maybe they came from a very old coin jar that finally made its way back to a bank.

Sweet! Nice catch! Last year, we had someone spend a pair of silver Washington quarters in our store. They were 1935, and 1935-S!! Clearly, someone had raided a collection, because they both looked brand-new.

We snatched those out of the drawer immediately!!
I am considering sending these two in to get slabbed...they're pretty nice.

You should have just recalled that you had to wash your car and vacuum it out. What a score!

This is a really nice find! If it were me, I would have asked for all of the quarters they had. They can always get out another roll. I would bet there were more of those in the drawer.
