I'm a date and mint collector of Queen Elizabeth coins and am puzzled by this one. Most of SI's coins I believe are struck in the Australian Royal Mint, this one appears to have a lesser accuracy and quality than what is typically seen for this country and has two unusual privy marks that I can't identify, one on each side. The reverse one appears to be a small "s" inside a large "v" while the obverse one has "c-s" separated or crossed out by a large "X-I" Any info on its origins?

I've heard SI had some troubles around this time at having enough coins available for circulation and wonder if having these poor quality coins produced was a matter of affordable expedience or if these are one of the many oddball "collector" pieces of unusual size and composition that I've been seeing out there from various countries. The over-sized aluminum cents from Panama or 1/2 Chun from DPRK come to mind.

Heres the coin:

The 2005 coins were struck by The Royal Mint but I'm not sure where this one was struck - not the Royal Australian Mint anyway as far as I know.
