Here is one of my Walking Liberty halves. This is the way I got it. Does it look like it has been polished? What kind of grade do you think its in? What kind of value? Thanks for looking. Sorry about the flash, I'm working on it.

Really too much glare to tell.
The obverse does not look polished but I can't say for sure if it was dipped.
Value is about melt $13-15

Walking Liberty halves are one of my favorites. What's the story behind this coin? Where did you get it?

From what I can see through the glare it seems worn down to the F-12 level or so. It's a common date and in this grade it's basically worth silver spot. You can pretty easily find EF or better examples in a dealer bin for around $15 at today's silver prices.
