Going through a box of loose tokens I found this, it weighs 4.0 grams and is 1.8 mm thick. Does anyone know anything about it?
Thank you.

Looks like a replica of a Norris, Greg, & Norris California Pioneer gold piece. I have seen these before. If it were the real deal, you are looking at an incredibly valuable coin.

The brown edges will tell you its not real gold, more than likely plated brass or bronze. And of course, it is nowhere near "the full weight of a half eagle"(8.24 grams).

Robert,

Would there be any possibility of again attaching your currently-lost .jpg photos as newly-inserted .jpg photos NOT tied to an Internet URL?

For some unknown reason when I click on 'Download Image' I see a photo of a white owl sitting on a tree branch.

Many times, such as in this instance, a URL may now be inactive leading to missing links.

Posting photos in this way will preserve the existence and overall integrity of the image desired to be revealed...

Any assistance with this request would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.,

mdpmedia
