I found it in a CWR and the reverse is normal / nothing visibly wrong.

Definitely grease, but having obliterated a lot of the date I would think that might make it worth more.

The more devices missing the more some one may want it. List it on the CCF Auction block and see what it does?

not common with that much detail missung. could also be a thin planchet if detail is also missing exactly across on the reverse....that is scarcer. $5 grease to $50 thin on ebay, but no guarantees.
