For example, if I had a post titled 'Contest, Win 3 Morgans', could I later update to say 'Contest, Win 3 Morgans (Update: added a consolation prize)' ? Report this Post to the Staff

Just name the new one so we can easily tell it is related to the other. You could also add a link to the old contest in the new one. Report this Post to the Staff

Sap Moderator Australia 16837 Posts	Posted 06/21/2011 8:52 pm Yes, moderators can edit thread titles, and we'd actually prefer you didn't start a whole new duplicate topic. If you've got an old thread you want to change the name of, just click on the "send note to staff" link at the bottom of the OP, and explain what you wish to happen in the dialog box that pops up. One of the mods will then make the changes for you. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S.
