I have several common date Wheaties I want to move on ebay. Let's say, I want to sell $50 of face value Wheats in plastic bags.
I'm thinking about just starting them of at face value and sending in a Flat Rate priority box.
To be honest, I want to get rid of them.
Give me your thoughts

Have you listed them for auction or in the for sale section here yet?

I'm not sure there would be any interest. They are "Not truly unsearched" coins, most in the 40's and 50's with a few in the 20's/30's.

I'd just sell them at a show. There's usually dealers with a counter that will buy them.

If there's such a thing as "Bad Feedback Bait" they're it. You could say you examined every single on under a microscope and some joker will expect to find something good.

Hmm..you gave me an idea Bobby.
My local dealer has one of those machines. What could I expect to get for $50 face?

I would 2.5-4 cents each depending on the dealer. I get mine for 4 cents each from my dealer but he only pays 2 cents. I am the only one who comes in for them so he is just picking them up for me and making a little profit off them.

Why not just join all the others on ebay with:
1. I have these UNSEARCHED coins and just want to get rid of them
2. My (mother, father, aunt, uncle) (insert todays special name) died and left me these. I know nothing about coins so I'm selling them.3. Found these in my basement and just want to sell them. Don't know nothing about coins.
OR
4. Take to a coin show and dump them all for whatever anyone offers.
5. Sell them here for whatever your offered.
6. Give to me and I'll worry about them.

Took 5,000 to my local shop today for 2.5 cents each.
James told me they normally don't buy them because they have no where to go with them.
I still have a few more. Let me know if anyone wants some before I take em down ;)

Locals here in NE OH pay between 2-3 cents for them, depending on the shop. 2.5 seems about the avg. Several dealers at the shows I've been to have been buying for 3.

The problem with those "unusearched" ebay items is that they do sell and they sell consistently.

As long as the same heard of people keep buying we'll keep seeing them.
