The following notes are displayed with an old U.S. Silver Certificate for size comparison. I have to use Avery sheet protectors in lieu of the "normal, 3 pocket currency pages for storing these. Here's the first of the lot, in no particular order:

And yes, I know this isn't a "World" specimen, but it goes with theme. A U.S. horse blanket dollar.

Rick Nice selection of larger notes. I particularly like the artwork on the back of the Russian ones. I too have some large ones, particularly from Germany and Russia and also the odd one from Laos, Sweden and Thailand. Here's my largest one (190mm X 115mm).

I think the largest note ever circulated was the chinese 1368 1 kuan, bigger than an a4 sheet of paper, and the biggest printed was the philippine 100,000 peso. But it was sold for over 150,000 pesos each, making it a bit pointless to circulate.

really nice ancient assets I have seen that last note is folded too much . Can anyone say what will be the size of note when it was folded? really looking nice.

I have those Russian notes as well, just like these except for different serial numbers. I read somewhere that during the Russian revolution many nobles fled to the West with suitcases full of this money, only to find it worthless. Here is another large note for the gallery: 190mm x 110mm
