I have a Greek coin I have ID'ed as a Philip II of Macedonia; however, I cannot find any references to the coin. It is bronze and not silver. Can anyone help

Unfortunately it's a modern copy that's why it's in bronze.

Sorry about all the bad news jwharper.

Looking at 3 of your posts and they are all determined by our knowledgable members to be modern replications.

I would post pictures of the rest of your coins, at least you would find out there status.

This is one of my biggest fears in collecting ancient coins, they are way to easy to counterfeit realistically and pass on to us.

I hope the investment was not to large.

I watch this list like a hawk when buying on ebay
It is FORVM's known fake sellers list, a great resource.
