A sign of the times. Never a good idea to be too high profile selling Gold and Silver. A PO Box is better than an walk-in store.

no alarm system?....even allowing for slow cops it would have taked a few minutes to break cases and steal stuff...

I find it hard to believe it wasn't an inside job. They wouldnt set up a store without installing some type of system. And even without one I know that area its not a back ally
