murrellington Pillar of the Community United States 3276 Posts	Posted 07/04/2011 4:42 pm So yesterday I was able to pick up a complete uncirculated set of Kennedy half dollars from 1964 to 2008 housed in a nice dansco album for $115. Great pickup, and I can easily sell it for a profit. Today I just bought a 1986 American silver eagle for $25 and a 1967 Kennedy half for $2.50. Pretty happy with craigslist this week. BUT on the ocassion, you can find awesome deals....I bought about 2 weeks ago 10 ASEs for 32 dollars each.....unfortunately, we have to feed off other peoples misfortunes. Both purchasers said they would meet me at a nearby Starbucks. I was put off on meeting twice by both buyers, but they said to consider them SOLD. It's been 2 months now and no other contact, so I sold the coins at a flea market for the same price. I don't think Craig's List is for me. I've listed rolls of 40% Kennedy halves for more than 30% below melt, and only had one inquiry. Then, he hemmed and hawed about the price, finally bought after 3 or 4 calls about the coins.
