Just like the topic stays. It looks like a 21 or 31 to me but I'm not sure.

And for you graders would this coin be considered G-4 or worse?

I am thinking 1921.

The blob that would be the three does not appear to match the three used that year.

I'm voting 31- if you superimposed a 2, it looks as if the 2 would be crooked on the date.

I think its a 21. The top of what I think is the 2 looks curved and the bottom looks straight so I think its a 2

I'm gonna say its a 31. Looking at the third digit it reminds me of an 8.

1921, the spacing from the 1 to the rim matches a 1921 while a 1931 has a larger space. The coin is quite worn but it was also struck with dies that were way beyond their optimal lifespan. I have never seen a 1931 that poorly struck but early 1920s dates are frequently found in a VLDS.

I'll go against the popular vote and say 1951.
