Ha, I know. I have always wanted a Chain Cent. Check this one out:

There is a cheaper one @ $1000.

It depends on what condition you insist on. I have three chain cents and the most I have paid for one so far is $1,000. (saw a dateless S-3 at EAC a year ago for $700.) I just need the S-1 Ameri variety and I know where I can get one for about $2,000. My Wreath was a real bargain. I picked it up back in 1989 at a coin auction where everyone was focusing on all the bulk silver available. This coin is a pretty much problem free G-4 and no one else had any interest in it. Like I said all they cared about was the silver. I picked it up for $150. Low grade ugly Wreaths can still be had from time to time for under $1,000. Cheapest one I ever bought was a dateless Pr-1 S-11c that cost me $80 (Sorry I sold that one after I bought the G-4.)

Probably the cheapest 93 cap though will probably run $4,000 or more even for a very low grade ugly coin.
