I imagine it is pretty slow right now. I just got grades today for an economy submission that was delivered to PCGS on 5/17. It took about 4 working days just for them to enter the submission into their sysem.

I don't know how they do the free submissions but 6-8 weeks is the current turnaround for the economy submissions. The regular submissions are slower than normal, too.

I had a membership last year and it took about 2 months for the free submissions to get back. I did check my account on PCGS and when it showed the grades of the coins, I got them a couple of days later in the mail.

It will be longer after this weekend the ANA submissions will all be hitting then. Always busier after a major coin show.

I submitted an economy order for 13 coins, received by PCGS on 6/21. Turnaround time at that time was 15 business days. Fifteen business days later, I checked my order - not done yet. And the PCGS site now listed a turnaround time of 20 business days. A week later, my order was still not done, and the website listed 25 days...One more week passed, and the website listed 30 days.
My order was indeed done after 30 business days, i.e. 6 weeks, but it was pretty discouraging that it took twice as long as the estimate at the time I submitted my order.

The world coin turnaround times are absolutely brutal right now. They might have to start grading on saturdays if they want to get that back log cleared.

I just got back an order I sent in the beginning of May, every order I've sent so far this year for world economy has taken 2+ months...

The turn around times are not accurate as far as I can tell. My regular order took about 5 days longer than estimated, and my current express order was received on 9/19 and it's still not done after 8 days (and there's a 4 day turnaround estimate on that).

I submitted four crossovers (15 Day) with my renewal voucher certificate. They were delivered on Saturday (28 Sep 2013 USPS Tracking), but have not been received as of this message.

Sometimes they turnaround in as little as two weeks (10 days) and some take two months+, depending on if there was a major coin show in the same month. Here is a link to someone who sent in a couple of whoppers! https://www.pcgs.com/Membership/sha...rNo=20741883

I have submitted twice using the voucher: once in late December and another in early October. Both times they finished grading them within 15 business days and received the coins back in about a month.

My recent 4 coin submittal has finally been received/accepted on 10/1/2013.
Now the real waiting begins. Regular 15 Business Day Estimated Turnaround, plus 3 to 5 days for variety attribution...which would be around Halloween.
