It would seem they are still working on the honour system regarding the terms of purchase. When a dollar starts being "seen" as pocket change, prices rise to reflect this. Hence the Toonie coin was then needed for most transactions. So what do you think will happen in the States if they FORCE us to accept these? Aren't prices high enough already? Thanks, I'll keep my "pocket change" defined as coins under $1.00 value. It really didn't take a rocket surgeon to figure out how to work this racket and milk it for all it is worth. Congress will soon enact legislation to outlaw the practice because they are not getting any tax revenue from it. I am surprised taxing miles and rebates from $ coin sales was not part of the Obummer Health Care bill. I guess Pelosi and Reid overlooked that cash cow Report this Post to the Staff
