So I looked through the links jbuck posted and the oldest anyone ever found was a 1856 dix centimes while half searching, it was by oober. Quote: My oldest would have to be a 1856 dix centimes found while half searching. :) The oldest American coin was an 1858 FEC by yankee1227

Yep what Rachums107 said. 1856 dix centimes in a half roll. Oldest American would have to be either a V nickel or Barber dime. I can't remember the yrs though. I know a guy on another forum who found a bust dime in a dime roll. Crazy isn't it?

I found a 1916 Mercury dime in my pocket change. Wasn't in perfect condition, but still worth keeping.

I found a 1842 Large Cent in the reject bin of a coin machine, but from roll searching the oldest I've found was an 1883 with cents V nickel in XF.
