Why do people get so put off, that a seller says he doesn't accept returns....That statement means absolutely nothing on ebay, because Paypal will refund your money no matter what the seller says,if theres a problem!

Well I'm really glad this item didnt sell. kills me that people try to pull that off. I bet if his first bid was lower he would have had someone bite

If he really wanted bidders to "see" that S, start at a much lower bid, like $.05. Nothing to see here except a buried/harshly cleaned 09-P worth a buck.

The S would be more obvious. Nothing. I recently found a 1908s in some indians I bought for 25cents each.

I see two very faint Ss - both on the front in the blurry word "States"

This guy has now relisted the same penny. I'd want to see close up pics, but I'm betting the S isb't there. Like everyone said, it's just wishful thinking! -Les

I see it! I see the S mint mark, oh heck, I shouldn't have used the zoom feature now I know it really isn't there. Well, at least he didn't photoshop an S mint mark onto the cent. Ed ANA LM-3175

Your all missing the S. Actually there are two S's on that coin so he is correct in a way. See the Obverse and note the word STATES. Starts with an S and ends with an S. So it really is a 1909 S but just not one from the S Mint place. It's all just in the way you look at things.
