Hi, could you grade this silver dollar, I think its around MS-66. You can see reflections in it and if you want some photos with no reflections, give me trick how to do it.

It is not an MS coin. It is Specimen finish. Hence, SP 65/66 more than likely. Hope this helps.

At best, 50.00 I would think for a SP 67. Mintage 833,095

As it happens, that was my first ever RCM purchase as a kid.

These were released back in the days of monstrous mintages. They have been worth bullion value since soon after release, and so weren't worth much, except in the brief Hunt Brothers era, until the last few years.

These contain 0.375 ASW, so are worth, at most, spot * 0.375 (about $15 right now).

Maybe 25 years from now, when most have been shipped out of Canada for melting, people will then discover they have become scarce and then will become valuable.

Which is worth more the coin itself (historic value,etc) or the melt value.
