As I had posted in this forum a week ago, I had a project that required a few hundred african coins for a church camp. Last week at the same camp , a few kids had stated they would have loved to have some 'real' coins from Africa.
So , when I heard that I knew it was something I had to do, after going back and forth with educationalcoin.com, I finally was able to get a 300 coin purchase involving coins from 12 different nations.
I was surprised by how much the kids liked them and went around camp for a whole day trying to see all the ones that were given out (Each person got one coin and had to trade if they wanted so). So it was very nice to see so many young people, alot of people came up to me asking for information on the coins, composition ,ect so I was more than happy to tell them all about the coins.

You're awesome for leading kids to learn about different countries and coins and also giving them a possible numismatist career !

Schockergd: You are what I would call a numismatic evangelist!
Recently, I sent 20 Australian platypus 20 cent coins to be distributed to kids in a San Diego elementry school. Needless to say, they were fascinated!
