Notice the L & I in LIBERTY. The top of the L & I have what looks like a notch to me and are extra thick. Also the bottom right of the L and I. All of the letters look extra thick to me. Thanks for your in-put.

John,

This one is tough because there are not much in the way of known markers to go by. I do agree that the LIBERTY does look promising, but as you and Coop have both pointed out to me, the 1982's all seem to have "fat" lettering.

Yes, that's why I'm having a hard time with this one. But LIBERTY does look a little odd to me.

What angle do you want? I'll try to take another photo for you.
Thanks, John1

Looks right. Check to see if you have any matching markers?

Hard to tell IMO...but the "L" doesn't look like it has Doubling...the "I" is fat though....

Is it copper or zinc?

It's zinc. I can not match any markers of 1DO-003 to my coin.
Thanks for the in-put so far everyone.

It does look different than 003. You might post your images on coppercoins.com and see if they would like a closer look at it?

John,

You know as well as I do that markers tend to differ from die stage to die stage. You might have the 003 in EDS.

I think one thing that searchers can learn is that not all coins have identical die stages for the obverse and reverse.
