Dear DVCollector, thanks for the reply. I am posting the last posted images with clues to read. Hope you will enjoy. the legend on the obv. (image on the right side) reads in four lines 'al sultan al azam - jalal al dunya wa al deen - abu al muzaffir firoz - as sultan' In this coin, the legend reads like 'as sultan al azam' on the rev.(image on the right) and 'jalal al dunya wa al deen' on the obv. Calligraphic potential of this script is never ending and indeed our old generations have greatly succeeded in giving us some of the most beautiful coins ever.

Thanks DVCollector for the post. Happy that you enjoy these ones. As Indian coins are one group among the most challenging to identify, I hope this topic will help some members of CCF to have a better understanding of their Indian coins. Next is a billon coin of Giyaz. It is a Gani weighing 3.4gms. The script within double cirlcle on the obv. reads "Tughlak shah". (This side is imitated ditto by Muhammad bin thughlak also). Billon - 3.4gms - Gani with a bilingual inscription on the obv.

Silver - 11.2gms - Tanka Giyaz ud din was murdered by his son Fakr ud din Muhammad bin Tughlak (1325-1351.AD).He was a genius who was borne before time. He introduced " token currency" with assigned high value on coins of low cost metal. But counterfeiting of coins became so rampant that the monarch could not prevent it. So the reformation was withdrawn in around four years. Copper - 3.6gms - Gani. Rabbi hasabi type Copper - 3.4gms - Gani - probably issued for Madura area in Tamil Nadu Copper - 3.6gms - Fals - Al Hakim allah - Ahmad al abbasi type

Do you read the Numismatic by the ANA, a few months back they had a great pc called heck & Fire, or Something like that. If I remember correctly it was a translation of a very similar coin. Might even been one you posted. The amount of information, behind the designs and what they stood for. Took some Phenomenal research, and it was well written. IMO I believe it was the paths in life one might take. I want to say 7 paths but I have a horrible memory with certain things. If you don't have a membership to ANA and are interested in reading it. I'll ask permission to post, or copy and send to you.

@ amassey08873: Hello, amassey08873, it is very kind of you to post that link. Thanks a lot for that consideration and for the time you spent to help me. I will surely try the ANA free membership and if that suits me will consider being a full member of the Association as well. Thank you very much.
