seal006 Pillar of the Community United States 1915 Posts	Posted 07/26/2011 11:38 pm After spending hours posting some coins on my website, I settled into my chair for a little roll searching. My luck has not been so good the past week. Looking through common cent after common cent, I turned this baby over to the reverse and BAM! There it was. My very first RDV-006. Amazing. Take a look. I flip it over and just glance at the initials. It did not catch my eye at first because I was so accustom to being disappointed. I glanced again. I thought maybe the G took a PMD hit. So I get out my 30X loop, as I think all this roll searching has messed with my eyesight. Then OMG, NO, OMG, YESSSSSSS. I always buy $20 in dimes, $20 in nickels, and $10 in cents when I go to the bank. I usually go on Mondays, to search during the week, and Fridays for the weekend. I finally found a branch at Wells Fargo that really enjoys seeing me and wondering what I have found. They are even saving halves and Ikes for me now. They are going to completely flip out over this. I am sad to stay that my amature self has never looked for them...I feel like I missed the bus...I have looked through thousands of coins in the last 3 months...wish I would have known about this variation... Compare an '88 to an '89 to see the difference. Or of you don't see a difference, then you've got the '88 reverse of '89. Report this Post to the Staff
