Here's another coin that is outside my usual collecting scope. I presume this is a Civil War token and I've seen at least one similar piece on ebay recently. It unfortunately has some corrosion (I've treated it with Verdi-Care to hopefully stabilize the surfaces). Is this a real "CWT" and if so how common is it and what might it reasonably be worth?

Thanks for your input!

I make that CWT as a Fuld 49/343, R-1, based on the book "Patriotic Civil War Tokens" by George and Melvin Fuld. On value, given the low rarity and surface condition my guess on value would be in the $10-$15 range.

My guess is that you have a 54/343 CWT. Fuld lists this token as a Rarity 3. The stars around the Indian Head are placed differently that the token posted by Jaobler, thus the 54 style. The shield and start look the same to me. I look at the placement of the start at the top of the shield and small border beads.
