I have a scheduled trip to the Benelux area (including Luxembourg City as well) and Paris later in the August. I was wondering two things, one is do we have any active collectors on the forum from those areas and two is, any good coin shops in Brussels, Amsterdam (I think I know one or two in Downtown Amsterdam), Paris or even in Luxembourg?..
Thanks fellas.

Definitely. It was unexpected. I am taking a road trip in Europe, which I haven't done for a while. I'll be flying back from Genoa and stay here in Istanbul for another week, than going back to Europe. This August will be fun!.:) hope to find good shops and meet some collectors while I am there. Hoping to find a coin market which beats London's famous Charing Cross market. :)

Sander : I know. I spent my honeymoon in beautiful Nederlands. I had been to Volendam, Edam and A'dam. Even though it was winter, all of these cities were wonderful. I can't help but notice, Amsterdam is a very civilized city, and the people were so kind. So, I am looking forward returning there.

If you were in NL in mid-September, I would have recommended visiting the Muntmanifestatie in Assen (in the province of Drenthe). That one https://www.muntmanifestatie.nl and the Holland Coin fair (in February) are the two biggest coin shows in the country.

In Amsterdam there is also a street market for stamps and coins (Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal 280), every Sunday from about 11 until some time in the afternoon. The market is also open on Wednesdays, but from what I know, there are fewer dealers than on Sundays.

Christian, thank you for your information. I can't believe I missed the coin fair in Holland last time I was there, which was February.
