Came across two State Quarters (Pennsylvania & Connecticut) and a Susan B Anthony dollar that see to be gold plated. I have never seen these before and was wondering if the Franklin Mint had put these out. Would like to know if anybody has info on these coins?

I see gold plated half dollars now and then, but I haven't seen them in other denominations.

I have seen one dealer that used to have hundreds of these gold plated quarters for sale. He does not seem to sell them anymore. I have no clue who created those.

I dont know who made them, but my little brother saw some, a couple years ago, while I was looking at a dealers table, and he bought one. I think he ended up spending it though.

Don't know who makes them, but I had posted before finding one in change and in good shape.
Home Shopping Network sells them when the State Quarters was the fad, people realize these aren't what those announcers say they were.

Imagine bringing these into coin dealers and asking what they are worth!

Just don't pay over face value unless they hold s special place in your heart. The gold plating means nothing for value.
