This seems like a fairly nice mid-grade 1736 4R... Looks like a problem-free VF-30 to 35; priced in the vicinity of $300. Thoughts? Maybe perhaps slightly out-of-round planchet (as made)? See near "VNVM", and "D. G." on the opposite side.

If anyone's wondering, btw, those weird thick "N"s seem normal for the issue, comparing to some other 1735-36 pieces...

Well, turns out that the 1736 has traces of a removed mount... still has good surfaces, but that price doesn't look as nice.

I kind of meant to bid on this piece recently, but ended up missing it... Strong detail, and the hole is fairly neat/non-offensive. A "nicer cull" - at what it went for, a good bargain type example of what a genuine better-grade 4R should look/feel like:

This one, however... um, not so nice:

The last one has a good chance to be a fake. I wouldn't play with it (avoid philipines, even more when it's private auctions and when the coin looks dodgy).
Coinworldtv has nice coins, already bought some from him. I had that one in my watch list as well, but didn't picked it because of the hole :)

Gosh, we will be both looking for the same coins, I hope we won't end over-bidding each other :p
Or maybe actually not, as I am looking for a Carolus III 4 reales, and you are looking for a philippus V one :)
Got one recently from the latest Soler y Llach auction :
