Hey guys, I know, I picked a horrible day to buy silver but...I thought it was a good deal. So, today I picked up 4 different 1965 silver dollar varieties - the pointed 5 small beads, blunt 5 small beads, blunt 5 large beads and the pointed 5 large beads. They are all in an official - looking holder, which titles "1965 Canadian silver dollar types" which each coin in the correctly marked holder. I'm telling you about the case, because I think it might increase the value just a little, seeing as though it is presented as a set. All the coins look at least AU+. I'll inspect them further in the morning. I paid $110 for the set, was it a good deal?. I'll post pictures tomorrow, my camera is buried in some luggage somewhere.
Thanks, Cazzuey Edited by cazzuey 08/03/2011 8:43 pm

Not at all, but wondering if you moved this whole conversation to the grading forum (third down on the list, maybe get better response, you could send note to staff, ask them to move your posts. thinking the 65 silver dollar is pretty common, but depends on grade and quality of each coin. I don't think you lost, but maybe not worth more than you paid, but that's just a guess, sorry.
