Is-This-Of-British-Origin?-|-Netherlands-1898-Flattened

Just enough details to make out the 1898 year with the lion image, but the reverse has faint design of leaves and twigs and everything else gone.

Brass or copper metal, thin and has look to have reed edge.
Another hammer coin?
